Getting married? Firstly, congratulations on your engagement! Welcome to one of the most exciting times in your life!
Here are 3 apps I used when planning my own wedding. I hope you find them as useful as I did, and yes, they are all FREE.
If you haven’t already discovered Pinterest, now is the perfect opportunity.
I love being organised so found the ability to create individual boards for every aspect of wedding brainstorming really helpful, e.g. the dress, the cake, hairstyles etc. The capacity to share boards with your bridal party can help ensure everyone is on the same page.
No matter how specific you are on your RSVPs, chances are you will get family and friends responding verbally to you or your partner along the way. Enter Moposa. Just enter your guests name, their partner (if any) and then you can utilise a one touch feature while you are out-and-about to keep track of who will be attending. You can even allocate your guests to groups, such as friends or family.
The app also includes a fun countdown to your wedding feature, and after the big day is over, it actually keeps count of how many sleeps since your wedding. Awwwww.
A great app to help organise your seating plan.
Choose from a variety of table shapes and sizes and easily allocate your guests. You can even create rules and let the app do the rest, e.g. John Smith must sit next to his wife, Beryl, but cannot be at the same table as his ex-wife, Cheryl.
Once you are happy with your layout, you can email it as a PDF to your reception venue. Don’t forget to send a copy to your graphic designer if you are planning on having a seating chart poster or sign at your reception.
